JoEllen found Yoga while living in Las Vegas and teaching elementary children. Her now husband, Dom, would be the one to introduce her to the practice and help inspire her journey. It wasn’t until JoEllen moved to Southern Pines, NC where she found “her” yoga, which in turn helped her unlock and discover a newer, more authentic version of herself.

JoEllen believes that yoga is meant for everyone and anyone, and in whatever form they choose. She believes that the beautiful thing about the practice of yoga is, that a person has the ability to make their practice whatever they want it to be. One of her aspirations at Love More is to have a space for anyone to come and be present on their mat and to connect with themselves for whatever they may need at that time. Everyone finds the opportunity to connect with what feels like alignment and truth to them.

A lifelong Irish dancer and cheerleader, JoEllen has always found health and fitness as an important aspect in her life. It is the practice of yoga that has helped her understand a deeper meaning to being healthy. JoEllen’s classes are inspiring, educational, and impactful. Her focus on body alignment and mind awareness allows for anyone to have a memorable experience while in her class. Her calming demeanor and quirky personality gives someone the opportunity to move their body in a way that will feel good to them, in a safe supported environment.

JoEllen received her 200 Hr RYT certification with Hot Asana Yoga University in Tulum, Mexico. Realizing her journey had just begun she later completed her 500 Hr RYT certification in Southern Pines, NC under the mentorship of Virginia Gallagher, Lisa Rischitelli, and Casey Backus at Hot Asana Yoga University.

JoEllen and her husband realize that the best way to guide others to LOVE MORE is through their three pillars: Movement, Community, and Connection. Whether you are here for the Movement, the Community, or the Connection, Love More is here for YOU whatever step along your journey you are on!
